Restaurants

So many to choose from!

Classy Restaurants with Ambiance

Dog Watch
194 Water St, Stonington
Our favorite restaurant! Harborside eatery for seafood, flatbreads & sandwiches with an outdoor deck & dockside bar. Best tuna and scallops. Great sunsets and awesome cocktails. Reasonable prices. There is also a Dog Watch in Mystic and the food is just as good but most of the seating is outdoors. The menu is different and includes awesome barbecue ribs.

Ford’s Black and Blue
Great cocktails and appetizers. Located at Spicer's Marina in Groton.

Bravo Bravo
19 E Main St, Mystic
Best food in town. Wonderful cocktails. Right in Downtown Mystic. Modern seaside cuisine with Italian leanings such as osso buco. They often have long wait time, so make a reservation.

Olio
Same owners as Bravo Bravo but the prices are a bit lower with the same quality of food and drinks. Typically, this restaurant is easier to get a table at than Bravo Bravo.

S&P Oyster
1 Holmes St, Mystic
New England seafood meets South American flavors at this upscale waterfront spot with a wood grill. Beautiful views. They often have long wait time, so make a reservation.

Oyster Club
13 Water St, Mystic
Creative boat-to-table New England seafood in a rustic-chic space with a zinc bar & roomy deck. Excellent food.

Outdoor Eating with a View

Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough
117 Pearl St, Noank
A great seafood dining experience with views of the boats entering and leaving the Mystic River. There are huge fish in the river that you can feed.

Ford’s
Best lobster roll in Noank

Costello’s Clam Shack
145 Pearl Street, Noank
Fried seafood, burgers and fish tacos served waterfront. They also have lobster rolls and are usually cheaper than Ford’s.  At the Noank Shipyard.

Red 36
2 Washington St, Mystic
Popular and airy waterfront restaurant & bar featuring an elevated, seafood-centric American menu.

21 Rocks
3 Williams Ave, Mystic
Great place for happy hour. Beautiful views.

Affordable but Delicious

Sneekers Café
568 Poquonnock Rd, Groton
Best pub food! Festive gameday hangout offers a wide menu of American comfort food in cozy digs with live music.
